The Crown Point Family Dentistry Story

Crown Point Family Dentistry’s story starts with humble beginnings. A small, start up private practice in East Charlotte originally opened in the1960’s by Dr. Charles “Frank” Robinson. Dr. Robinson built a small but loyal patient base from the ground up and served the Charlotte community with kindness and compassion for the entire family. He provided simple yet predictable dentistry that has lasted decades. His vision provided the foundation of our practice’s reputation for what is now over 50 years of serving this community.

Dr. Bobby Pappert purchased the business in 2000 as Dr. Robinson decided to retire. Dr. Pappert took a small, one doctor practice and moved our office to its current location on Monroe Road. He grew into what it is today – a robust and flourishing two dentist private practice in the heart of Southeast Charlotte, offering comprehensive dentistry with services from the simplest of fillings to complex full mouth rehabilitations. In his over 20 years of ownership, he has prioritized patient relationships and exceptional dental care. It is the commitment to these priorities that have earned the respect and trust of our entire community and local sports teams. In addition to our private patients, the Charlotte Checkers and Knights have awarded our office with that same trust and loyalty as we continue to serve as both team’s exclusive providing dentists to this day.

In 2021, after nearly 22 years of single practice ownership, Dr. Pappert decided to begin a partnership with Dr. Chris Cerasaro, who served as his associate beginning in 2018. With similar personalities and treatment philosophies, Dr. Cerasaro and Dr. Pappert continue to grow our practice. Our doctors are committed to maintaining excellence and pushing the technological boundaries of our profession to deliver your family the highest level of dental care for decades to come.
